Vintage 2004
After the unusually hot 2003 vintage, the 2004 vintage was a classic Burgundian vintage. The vines produced a low yielding crop with excellent balance and bright flavors. Because of the ideal weather conditions, the grappe was able to remain on the vine until the end of September when it achieved perfect ripeness.
Vintage 2003
The exceptional heat and drought conditions that overwhelmed France during 2003 produced highly concentrated Pinot Noirs with intense fruit and unusual richness. The grapes were harvested unusually early due to the extreme ripening conditions.
